One of our dear Portugal Friends has found out recently, that after surviving ovarian cancer and been in remission, that it has recurred and is to go through more treatment.  She has asked to remain anonymous but those of us who know her, and I'm certain even if you don't, we all send you our thoughts and prayers for a successful result.

She has asked, however, if we could lend our support to a campaign in the UK to lobby for a medication to become available to other victims.  If you are not fully resident here or if you have friends or family who would be prepared to write to an MP ... the more people who lobby, the more likely it is that the Government will take positive action.  Portugal Friends has agreed to spread the word on this and I would ask you to support where you can or send this to anyone who would.
